Using this Gift, your child will now create objects from a point, taking the next logical step following the three-dimensional object of Gifts 1-6, the two-dimensional shapes of Gift 7, and the lines of Gift 8.
When presenting the point to your child for the first time, it is helpful to use the solid cube from Gift 2, demonstrating that the corners are made from such points.
Forms of Life:As with other Gifts, your child will again create representations of objects from his/her world, this time using points. Engage your child in a dialogue about what each creation represents.
Forms of Knowledge:
The points can be used to demonstrate basic mathematical concepts to your child, such as the sorting and ordering of objects. The grid can be used to demonstrate the formation of vertical, horizontal and diagonal lines, as well as shapes.
Forms of Beauty:
